Your hardware.
Your encryption.
Pair your phone over an encrypted Bridge. Heavy chat and image generation run on your computer's GPU. Public alpha for Linux and Windows. macOS coming soon.
Built for your home network.
The phone is sharp, the desktop is heavy. The Bridge keeps both private and in sync without ever calling a server.
-
Your computer joins in
Pair Tacita Desktop over your home network. Your phone becomes the client; your computer runs the heavy models and the image generation — full GPU power, all of it private.
-
Faces for your characters
Generate a portrait for any persona on your desktop GPU. The image returns over the encrypted link and lands in your vault.
-
Civitai, built in
Search Civitai for image models and LoRAs and install them in one click — straight into your local models folder.
-
Run the big models
Tap into your home GPU for models far larger than any phone can hold — the answers get noticeably better.
-
Same chats, phone and desktop
Your personas and history follow you across both devices — kept in sync over the encrypted link, never through a cloud.
-
No cloud, no relay, no account
Phone and desktop pair directly on your home network with a QR scan. The link is end-to-end encrypted; no third-party server ever sees it.
-
Built for power users
Bring your own models from any folder, drop in a GGUF, tune the runtime, and watch diagnostics — without anything ever leaking off the machine.
Image generation, on your own GPU.
Tacita Desktop runs SD, SDXL, and Flux locally on your computer; the encrypted Bridge streams the result to your phone — chat-side gen, persona avatars, anything you ask for. No server in the loop.
-
Your GPU, not ours
Models run on the desktop you already own.
-
Encrypted on the wire
Same Noise transport that protects your chat.
-
Zero plaintext spill
Desktop overwrites the temp PNG before deleting.
Encrypted in transit. Wiped on the desktop. Stored encrypted on your phone.

Privacy posture
Nothing leaves the device unless you ask for it. The Bridge uses a Noise IK handshake on the LAN — the phone is the initiator, so the desktop's long-term key never lands in a forwarding channel. Image generation runs locally; the desktop overwrites the temp PNG before deleting it.
